Case study · LearnDash + e-commerce

Enhance Safety Training

An OSHA-training company spent a year and a half stuck with a platform that never quite shipped. We audited it, rebuilt it into one cohesive LearnDash + WooCommerce platform, and delivered it on budget — because our price is our word.

The setup

Enhance Safety Training sells OSHA safety courses for construction and general industry — LearnDash for the learning, memberships for access, WooCommerce for checkout. The vision: train individuals and whole companies online.

Getting there had already cost them a year and a half of turmoil. Their previous developer was capable, but the platform never made it over the finish line — and every month it didn’t, the business waited.

We started the way we always do: a systems review and audit to answer the only question that mattered — can the thing they want actually be built? It could. That’s where we came in.

The challenge

Eighteen months in, the platform still wasn’t finished — and the business couldn’t move until it was.

  • A stalled build. A capable previous developer couldn’t bring the platform over the finish line — eighteen months of turmoil and waiting.
  • Three systems, one experience. LearnDash courses, memberships, and WooCommerce checkout had to behave like a single platform — not three plugins in a trench coat.
  • Bulk licensing for companies. They needed to sell classes in bulk to organizations — custom licensing WooCommerce doesn’t do out of the box.
  • Getting teams in the door. Bulk buyers needed a robust way to invite their people into the courses they’d purchased.

The solution

Audit first, then build — one cohesive platform, delivered on budget because the price is the price.

  • Systems review + audit. Before writing code, we mapped what existed and confirmed the build was feasible — then scoped it honestly.
  • A cohesive platform. LearnDash, memberships, and WooCommerce rebuilt to work as one experience.
  • Custom bulk class licensing. Organizations buy training seats in bulk — the commerce model they’d been waiting on.
  • A robust invite system. Bulk buyers invite their team into purchased courses without a single support ticket.
  • Brevo integration. Email marketing wired directly into the platform.
  • On budget, on our word. The build ran longer than planned and hit overruns we didn’t foresee. We absorbed them. The price is the price.
The results

Over the finish line — on budget.

On budget

overruns we didn’t foresee came out of our margin, not their invoice. We quoted a number and the number held.

18 months

of prior turmoil ended — the platform that was always “almost done” finally shipped.

Bulk seats

custom class licensing lets organizations buy training for whole teams, with the invite system to match.

Growing

they’re running ads, making sales, and scaling on a platform that finally works.

Over the finish line, at last

The platform that spent eighteen months stuck shipped as one cohesive experience: LearnDash courses, membership access, WooCommerce checkout, and Brevo email working together. The custom pieces — bulk class licensing and the user invite system — opened up the company-training sales they’d been waiting for.

The price is the price

We’ll be straight about it: the project ran longer than we expected, and some costs ran past what we planned. They didn’t pay for that — we did. We keep our word. Today Enhance Safety Training is running ads, making sales, and growing into the platform.
